WOMEN'S PELVIC FLOOR YOGA

Gain balance, stability, and ease from the ground up. This soft yet dynamic practice will safely center, support, and tone the pelvic floor with a breath-centered blend of slow vinyasa movement and held postures to relieve tension and restore energy.
As we observe our particular habits, we learn to customize our breath patterns and pelvic balancing techniques for more mindful, integrated movement and posture throughout the whole body. Particularly useful for postpartum care and anyone looking to get to know her floating base, this workshop will also address specific self-care topics and practices to take home.
No experience necessary.

BREATH CENTERING &
SUBTLE BODY YOGA
Friday, August 18th // 7:30 - 9 PM / $30
With breath awareness and pranayama as our central practice, this experiential workshop will offer the space to listen and explore the channels and centers of our energetic or subtle bodies using gentle movement and meditation. In the seamless process of yoga, our relationship to the energy of the breath allows us to cultivate feeling and purpose in harmony with our natural cycles, and gain trust in our source of guidance centered at the heart. All are welcome.
Friday, Sept. 15th // 7:30 - 9 PM / $25
Rest deeply, gain energy, and experience the natural state in between waking and sleep. Made popular by Swami Janakananda, the guided meditation known as Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, takes the mind deep into the body with conscious relaxation and active visualizations. This "advanced savasana" practice is known to regulate and replace sleep while expanding our inner awareness, preparing the mind for higher states of meditation and the transition into cooler months.
All are welcome.
